Day 15: Independence, MO to Gothenburg, NE

Long day of driving, but the good news is that I think the rest of the days of driving will be 6 hours or less.

Some highlights of today:

• Passing Airhead (Arrowhead) Stadium:  Wild Thing drew a picture of it
• Getting a good look at lightning bugs for the first time ever!
• Thinking of how every mile we drove brought us closer to home ( I wish I knew how to make those cute heart shapes with my keyboard right here.)

PS  I forgot to mention that at the National Frontier Trails Museum, there was a little corner dedicated to Ezra Meeker who was a famous Puyallup pioneer!
